The Old Rectory Garden

Gardening has become a great passion for Lord Barker. In 2021, together with his husband, he commissioned leading English garden designer Arne Maynard to reimagine the grounds of their home, The Old Rectory. Since then, the garden has continued to evolve in line with Arne’s original vision—a modern classic rooted in timeless design and year-round beauty.

The Garden

In 2025, The Old Rectory Garden opened to the public for the first time as part of the National Garden Scheme, supporting charitable causes through garden visits.
