Greg meets firefighters at Bexhill Fire Station to hear their concerns about the recent Rural Review
Town MP Greg Barker met Ian Molnar and other local firefighters at Bexhill Fire Station on Friday to hear their concerns about proposals recommended in the East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service Rural Review.
The Rural Review recommends amendments to the current system which the Bexhill firefighters believe are not viable. Although no final decisions have been made, the firefighters are concerned the points they have raised are not being taken into consideration. Greg pledged to make sure their views are heard by the East Sussex Fire Authority.
Speaking in Bexhill Greg said:
“There are a lot of important issues at stake in this review and the safety of my constituents is always my first concern. So I was very glad to have the opportunity to discuss these issues first hand with local firefighters and talk about their concerns.”
