Save Our Trains

Labour’s cuts would be disastrous. Having saved the direct service to Victoria, Greg is now campaigning hard to keep trains to Cannon Street and a reliable, regular service for the whole area.

The proposed cuts would see all trains between Hastings and Cannon Street removed and the remaining Charing Cross trains shortened. The Cannon Street trains currently serve commuters in Stonegate, Etchingham, Robertsbridge, Battle and Crowhurst who, if the Labour proposals go ahead, would see their direct link to the City axed.

Greg has launched his new petition to save the Cannon Street rail service. Having stood up in Parliament to slam Labour ministers for proposing the cuts, Greg is now collecting signatures to present to the Government as proof of the strength of local feeling.
