Stop Bexhill Landfill

Greg has been fighting landfill at Ashdown Brickworks since 2001 and vows to fight on.

It is clear that the Ashdown Brickworks site is once again in the frame for landfill. A landfill site of such a size and in this location would be an absolute disaster for so many reasons and of course of all the waste disposal methods, landfill and the dangerous methane gases it creates, has the very worst impact on climate change. However, Greg wants to head this off at the pass and ensure that such a proposal never comes to fruition in Bexhill, be that in five years time or twenty years time. We cannot pass the buck to our children either. But Greg also want the town to think positively about what the long term future of the huge clay pits should be, perhaps there is another use which would actually benefit the community.
