We all have our favourite local pub. However, up and down the country people have been losing theirs. Not only are they a critical part of our heritage but they are often hubs for local communities hosting social groups, sports clubs and sometimes even the village shop.

Greg has launched a new campaign to call on the Government to help save our pubs and safeguard jobs.

It has been my privilege to serve the people of Bexhill and Battle as their Member of Parliament since the general election of 2001. The role of the modern Member of Parliament has changed a great deal in recent years. First and foremost I remain my community's representative at Westminster, scrutinising parliamentary bills, working to shape legislation to improve the lives of all my constituents and also holding the government to account.
